Collection: Anna Dawson

Anna Dawson is a designer and artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in Sausalito, California, as the daughter of two architects, and learned early on to look at the world through art and design. Her childhood was a mix of creativity and time outdoors, a combination that still shapes her work.

She studied at Whitman College and the Rhode Island School of Design, where she developed her skills in photography and furniture design. Her greatest source of inspiration is surfing: the fluid, buoyant feeling of riding a wave, and the search for harmony between body and water. Anna translates that movement into sculptural objects that are both functional and expressive.

In 2022 her work was discovered at WantedDesign during NYCxDesign in New York. This led to a collaboration with the American brand Heller, which brought her ocean-inspired forms into production, starting with the Swell.
