Collection: Dick Bruna

Dick Bruna (Utrecht, 1927–2017) was a Dutch artist, graphic designer and author. He started his career at his father's publishing house, A.W. Bruna & Zoon, where he designed more than 2,000 book covers with his recognisable, graphic style.

In 1955 he drew a little white rabbit for his son: Nijntje, known worldwide as Miffy. With bold black lines, a few primary colours and simple shapes, Bruna said as much as possible with as little as possible, an approach inspired by artists such as Henri Matisse. The Miffy books have been translated into more than 50 languages and sold in their millions all over the world.

Today Miffy is a design icon in her own right, loved by children and grown-ups alike, and Bruna's timeless graphic style lives on in lamps, toys and home accessories.

At I❤️DESIGN you will find the Miffy lamps by Mr Maria in several sizes, the Miffy Shines night light and string light, money boxes, a magnet set, a keyring and a pencil.
