Collection: Philippe Starck

Philippe Starck (born in Paris in 1949) is one of the best-known designers and architects in the world. He studied at the École Camondo in Paris and became famous in the 1980s for interiors such as the Café Costes in Paris and the private apartments of President Mitterrand at the Élysée Palace.

Starck is known for his playful, imaginative approach, often with a touch of humour and irony. He believes good design should be accessible to as many people as possible, and has designed everything from hotels and restaurants to chairs, lamps and kitchen tools. Among his most iconic pieces are the Juicy Salif citrus squeezer for Alessi and the Louis Ghost chair for Kartell.

For Heller he designed the Excalibur toilet brush, a perfect example of his talent for turning an ordinary object into a design icon. Inspired by the legendary sword of King Arthur, the handle is the sword and the holder is the stone it rests in.

At I❤️DESIGN you will find the Excalibur toilet brush in several colours, and the original replacement brush head.
