Giorgio Della Beffa
Giorgio Della Beffa was part of the wave of Italian designers who embraced plastic as a serious design material during the 1970s polymer boom, working with manufacturer Euroway in Turin. His Ring-a-Date calendar earned lasting recognition for its playful, hands-on mechanism, eventually going on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Decades later, his grandchildren revived the design, reissuing the calendar in new colorways while staying true to his original vision.
